Апстракт:
Copper nanoparticles with great catalytic activity can be applied in biosensors and electrochemical sensors. In this paper, synthesis of copper nanoparticles was done by reduction of copper salt, CuSO4 x 5H2O, with sodium borohydride as a reduction agent, in the presence of stabilizer ascorbic acid. The formulation of nanoparticles is visually accompanied by change in color of solution, from light blue, through yellow to the dark red. Characterization of synthesized copper nanoparticles was monitored by using UV/VIS spectrophotometry, in function of time. Based on existing literature data, it was concluded that particles size is around 15 nm.
